We help horses of all ages and breeds that are in need, not kept in a appropriate way, that are neglected or given away due to psychological/physical problems or need a new home due to private emergencies. We give them the opportunity to live in a herd, to recover  and rehabilitate from past stress and simply to be allowed to be a horse. The first two horses, Alegría and Sevillana moved in at 2009 and so our association AMICAB - Amigos de los caballos (friends of horses) was founded. Since 2011 we are on the big finca "Oceana" from Christian at one of the most beautiful places on the west coast of Fuerteventura. Besides the horses, cats, dogs and some ducks and chickens live here peacefully together.

In order to give our shelter animals what they need every day (be it food, water, dental care, hoof treatments, or in emergencies, a veterinarian), we are overjoyed to have people who would like to support our work in the form of a donation.
